It’s time for my annual blog post on Raspberry Pi dot com, which can only mean one thing — we have a brand-new book out today, now appropriately titled the Raspberry Pi Official Annual 2027. To celebrate the first full year of projects and guides from Raspberry Pi Official Magazine, we decided a name change was appropriate.

Same great taste

We know change can be scary, but don’t worry — I’ve once again worked very hard to fit in as many amazing articles from the last year of Raspberry Pi Official Magazine as possible, and I think I’ve managed to get a broad mixture of projects, guides, and reviews to suit just about everyone’s tastes. It does help that the community keeps making incredible things with various Raspberry Pi products… it makes my job a little easier, at least.

Since last year, there have been some big updates to Raspberry Pi OS, so the usual getting-started and troubleshooting articles I like to feature have been updated with the latest information on how to make use of Raspberry Pi. This includes details on the new Control Centre utility, which lets you configure the majority of Raspberry Pi settings from one interface.
