Were you at Maker Faire on Saturday? Did you take some video?
We were hoping to feature Eben’s talk (which is a bit of a departure from the talks he’s been giving up until now) here this week, but unfortunately the guys at Make lost the video when attempting to upload it, because they had a horrible network SNAFU.
Were you at Maker Faire on Saturday? Did you record Eben’s talk? Please let us know if you did – we’d love to have a copy, because we want to share it!

SNAFU LOL! Bit rude though for some of our younger readers. I’ll be there are some blushes from parents explaining that to their kids this morning.

It seems that my grandson also reads from the friendly manual (at 7 years old) and so “SN”. He came and told me what had happened, using the friendly version of the acronym.

Haven’t yet found a video of the talk, but there is this Q&A session which took place shortly after the talk.

I was not able to download the PDF version. I get the following error;

A friend of mine recorded Eben’s presentation… what format do you need?

Make sure you include the Question at the end about Android coming to the PI please. Eben gave a good answer about they have it working, but need to figure out how to get it all into one package, vs 2 forks he stated. Exciting news.

If you could stick it on YouTube, we’d be most grateful!

I’m posting this from an RPi using the Midori browser on Raspian. I putter with a fair variety of hardware but I don’t think I’ve ever done anything like this before. Second time fooling with it in as many weeks, and this time I took a moment that raspi-config can configure the keyboard for Yanks.
