Rock Paper Scissors Lizard Spock

Dan Aldred, the teacher we all wish we had, has been at it again. Today, he’s been making a Sense HAT version of that old-fashioned standard, Rock Paper Scissors Lizard Spock (actually invented by Sam Kass, and popularised by the Big Bang Theory). Here’s Sheldon to explain the rules.

This is a great tool for teachers, as well as just being outright fun: it teaches a bit of maths, and works as a good introduction to the Sense HAT. Dan’s here to show you more.

Dan’s made everything you need available on GitHub – what are you waiting for?

Ooh, looks really good. Well done Dan. Funnily enough I was playing this game with my Computing class at school today, using a CodeBug. I really like Dan’s Pi version though. It is so nicely presented, with colourful sprites and colour-coded text. Just got to write a set of school reports and then…play time :-)
