Issue #333 - Raspberry Pi robot protects children’s health

Hola,

We likedthe inspiration behind Amol Deshmukh’s Raspberry Pi–powered social robot, which encourages children to wash their hands properly. They hope to roll out similar robots across schools in India to reduce bacteria-related illnesses in children.

Caroline Dunn showed us how to jazz up your face mask and express yourself with a scrolling text panel. And our friends at The MagPi magazine shared some cool haunted house hacks to get your home Halloween-ready.

Also, our Principal Hardware Engineer Roger Thornton joined the Digital Making at Home team’s live stream this week to explain to young people how Raspberry Pis are made.

Peace,

Ashley
