Issue #330 - Turn a watermelon into a RetroPie games console
Howdy,
We’ve got one of those nice, juicy, extra full issues of Raspberry Pi Weekly for you today. Did you miss us? Summer breaks mean we’ve been a bit like ships passing in the night at Raspberry Pi Towers but we are back and into our Friday routine.
One of our young makers has been honoured with a 2020 Action for Nature award for his smart sprinkler system. Your recent home builds feature some cool robots, and a few nostalgia-filled retrofits. On the weirder end of the scale, we also saw a self-driving trash can and a RetroPie games console inside a watermelon.
September is wellness month at Digital Making at Home, and the team have some brand new projects for young coders which are all about embracing the things that make you feel calm.
Plus, Raspberry Pi Press has published a few new issues of our house magazines since we last saw you.
Phew. And… breathe.
