Issue #229 - Reboot

Two girls being taught about computing by a woman

Hello there,

Have you heard the news about HackSpace? It’s a brand-new maker magazine from the team behind The MagPi, and you can get a print copy of issue 1 for free! Managers of hack- or makerspaces can also get a whole box of magazines for free to share with their members.

This week also saw the release of the Royal Society’s After the Reboot report, an important study on the state of computing in UK schools.

And to end the week, we’ve compiled some of the best projects we’ve seen on social media for your perusal. Did we miss something? Make sure to share it with us via our social media accounts by tagging us in your posts.

Have a great weekend, and we’ll see you next week.

Peace,

Alex
