Issue #143 - Celebrate
Hi everyone
Last weekend was the big Raspberry Pi birthday weekend, which you can read about on Philip’s round-up.
There are 3 weeks to go in the Astro Pi coding challenges – a chance for UK schools to compete to have their code sent into space, specifically a Sense HAT MP3 player, and a piece of music composed in Sonic Pi. If you have a Sense HAT, you can have a go at the player, but as Sonic Pi is cross-platform, it’s open to anyone with access to a PC. Read more on the Astro Pi website, and see Tim Peake’s video message.
If you can make it to Cambridge on 23rd April, do come along to the Creative Technologists New Works Exhibition, to be held at the Raspberry Pi offices.
